The Arts, Imperial and Settler Colonialism, and Places and Spaces

In connection to her doctoral research, Vanessa Clark is experimenting with materials and processes, to create and publish a place specific art practice, through a sustained research focus on inheriting colonial legacies in Canada. She is inspired by the scholarly work of Indigenous feminists, and her pedagogical collaborations with educators and children. Teaching theoretical and curriculum courses in early childhood studies frames much of my pedagogical research and questions in the arts.
